Now, what I think should happen in this case is when the latching relay closes, it should stay in the on mode. Looks like I thought it would, except for the use of a solenoid instead of a latching relay!! The small circuit board and its relay supplies power to the latching relay. I have contacted Monaco to see if there is a wiring diagram for this arrangement. Based on the dates I am assuming the system has been revised/updated to correct an earlier problem.Ĭould this be the Intellitec system mentioned by desertdeals69? Mounted on the front of this ckt board is a small black cube with the following info stamped on it: 963-1C-1205, 15A 12VDC, Coil: 400 Ohms, dated 06/12. The back side of the ckt board has the following information: KIB, BIP 101, dated 01/30/06. This ckt board is attached to one of the secondary terminals of that same solenoid and one of the wires coming off it goes to the other terminal of the same solenoid. From this 5 amp fuse there is a red lead going to a small ckt board with a mounting hole. In my system the solenoids are arranged vertically and the upper solenoid has an integral fuse block on the bottom of it with a 5 amp fuse. The solenoids on mine are not arranged or wired the same as shown on the Monaco drawing. I do have the purple wire and white wire to the solenoids as described but I do not have the gray wires as mentioned and shown in the drawings. Thanks for all the input from everyone on this issue. I seem that I can't even follow my own drawings. The slide went out and back in with just the push of the switch. I moved the wires to match the book and guess what happened. Finaly got out the book and I was sitting on the couch looking at the book and the switch and wala, I said to myself "my switch isn't wired that way". The next time we used the coach the slide would not go out. After checking the switch putting it back together I got the slide in and we went on our way. I always draw a diagram of the wiring of any switch if there is more then two wires. When I first had the problem I pulled the switch to check it. I did have a problem with the front slides switch. I have scanned and enlarged pages before so I could follow flow to find a problem. Problem is that the print is so small it is hard to follow the wires. One thing I do have that came with my coach is a Wiring Diagram Book, it contains both 12 volt and 110 ac wiring. I have forgotten to plug it in and 4 or 5 days later I will find the batteries down. I haven't gone looking for the culprit since I keep it plugged in all the time it is in the barn. For what ever the reason, I can turn all three off and I still have a small drain on my batteries. I to have the Battery switch in the step well wall. I have two of the Battery switches in the battery compartment. NOTE! Herman, Your coach should be wired the same! Why there are 2 different wiring methods ? both accomplish the same result.į355197's coach is an Executive and one year newer. The Model LE-415 automatically shuts down when the coach is dry camping to protect the coach battery, and features a green light to show when it is active. They are fully automatic devices which are used in motorhomes to keep the chassis battery fully charged when the coach is plugged into shore power, or the AC generator is operating. Original equipment on high end Monaco motorhomes since 1995! The Model LE-315 Keep-It-Up and the Model LE-415 Super Keep-It-Up are battery maintainers. This device feeds one of the Latching Relays and could be a part of your problem. Since the LR9806 does not require constant voltage, it is one less load on the battery. It only requires a short "pulse" of voltage to activate or deactivate the relay. The LR9806 is a single-pulse latching relay. The latching relay is an effective battery disconnect device. The relay part number listed is KIB 16615055 Momentary, Location Rear Run Box. One gets a large spark if you do !!!! and the fusses are expensive and special. Is this what you see ? The switch does not need to be locked to keep the circuit active ! The lock is to prevent from inadvertently turning off the 12 volt system.ġ2 Volts should be present on 1 side of each relay, these are high current circuits with large fuses so do not short out these cables. Purple wire to center connection of the SW.#2- White wire to connection #1 There should be a Purple wire from the switch to the relay, at the switch there will be a white wire going to ground and the other end of the Purple wire. Both fuse links need to be good and both relays need to energize to get the system on line. The links are gray in color and outwardly show no sign of being open. The difference in the wiring is where the fuse link(s) is connected. These are latching relays and the switch is a momentary rocking switch that toggles them off an on.

Mgs5 kill count run out of soliders7/25/2023 For example, the adventurers need to get to the other side of a large battlefield, not necessarily defeat everyone on their way there.Įnlist another player to keep track of the enemy hit points or the initiative rooster (maybe one for each). Be less descriptive about mob attacks.Īdd the mass of creatures to an encounter where something else needs to happen, not just kill them all. Spend most of your time narrating during the player's turns, talking about their actions. Serves to drive up the point of their numbers. Some are probably stuck way on the back and do not get a piece of the action until the adventurers mow their way into them.įor each chunk of equal creatures, pick a group of targets, grab a handful of dice and roll their attacks all at once. Or at least, put a good chunk of them to act on the same initiative. Group creatures of the same type into a single initiative number. How do I give this overwhelming feeling, without an initiative round lasting for hours?Ī few suggestions, apply those that sound fun to you: While I am aware that I could create 3 enemies representing a group of Gnolls each, each a single mechanically strong enemy to ensure the encounter is just as hard, this does not give the right atmosphere if I want my players to feel overwhelmed by a multitude of lesser creatures. What is the best way to I handle large creature counts? The next day me and one of the core players reflected a bit and it was brought to my attention that the encounter could have perhaps been handled differently. The Initiative order of 18 Gnolls plus my players was so extensive that one of my players fell asleep before his turn came around again (It was about 1am by that time). But the group decided to enter their area from 3 sides and, lo and behold, activated all 3 groups at once. I had planned that the group would meet these 18 Gnolls in 3 separate encounters, such that the group would only face six at a time. 16 of them were your basic Gnoll fighter, one was a Gnoll Pack Leader, and the last was a Gnoll Fang of Yeenoghu (which was responsible for the rapid multiplying of the Gnoll Population). A week ago for my Friday night session, my adventurers came across a pack of 18 Gnolls.

Vintage metronome7/25/2023 Philippe-Nicolas Paquet was born in 1823 into a family of watch makers and followed the family tradition by entering the time-keeping industry. Although digital metronome software has replaced the need for the classic mechanical metronome, the beat goes on for collectors who respect the engineering and craftsmanship of the box on top of the piano. It does, however, often provide additional features, particularly for recording artists. A Digital Metronome is just a piece of software. Quartz metronomes make use of quartz crystal, much like a watch does. Electronic, or Quartz, Metronomes came onto the scene as the more precise way of determining time. They usually come in a pyramid shape and use an inverted pendulum to keep the beat. Mechanical Metronomes are what might well be thought of as the “classical” metronome. There are various types of metronomes on the market today. Modernist composers of the 20th century, such as Stravinsky and Bartók, wrote music demanding stringent rhythmic precision, and conductors obliged, forming the basis for a pro-metronome movement in the music world. In the same way, metronome markings were a way for composers to communicate the tempo at which they intended a piece to be performed. Ludwig Van Beethoven became the first composer to give his pieces metronome markings, and even pledged to do away with indicating such indefinite tempi as “allegretto.” Musicians had already adopted standardized symbols to indicate time signature, key, dynamics and note relationships. An early example of a Maelzel metronome can be found in the Metropolitan Museum’s collection, acquired by The Met in 1979 as part of its acquisition of The Crosby Brown Collection of Musical Instruments. Each swing of the pendulum produced an audible tick, and users could adjust a dial to control the tempo of the ticking. Maelzel’s metronome used an escapement (think of the toothed wheel that makes a watch tick) to transfer power from a wound-up spring to a weighted pendulum. Through questionable practice (so goes the story), Johann Maelzel appropriated Winkel’s ideas, added a scale, called it a metronome and started manufacturing the metronome under his own name in 1816: “Maelzel’s Metronome.” Maelzel also patented this creation in London, Paris, and Vienna. In 1814, the German inventor Dietrich Nikolaus Winkel developed a “musical chronometer” capable of keeping fast and slow times, but he failed to patent his device. Plaguing Loulié and his contemporaries was the problem of creating a metronome that would beat slowly enough to keep the tempo of many classical musical pieces, often set at a mere 40 to 60 beats per minute. His “machine” was merely an adjustable pendulum with calibrations, but without sound or an escapement to keep it in motion. In 1696, Etienne Loulié (1654–1702), a noted French musical theorist, attempted to apply the principles of the pendulum to a metronome. Galileo realized his discovery could be applied to timekeeping, leading to the invention of the pendulum-powered clock by Christiaan Huyghens in the 17th century and George Graham in the 18th. In other words, regardless of amplitude, the pendulum will take about the same amount of time to complete one period, or back-and-forth swing. In 1581, Galileo Galilei studied and discovered that pendulums (of any given length) vibrated in the same time, whether the amplitude was large or small. He also created an instrument with an inverted pendulum that could be set to a beat at so many times per minute with a loud ticking to keep the tempo – the precursor to the metronome more finely evolved centuries later. Among his many inventions, Abbas Ibn Firnas is known to have designed a water clock called al-Maqata, devised a means of manufacturing colorless glass, invented various glass planispheres, made corrective lenses (“reading stones”), devised a chain of rings that could be used to simulate the motions of the planets and stars, and developed a process for cutting rock crystal that allowed Spain to cease exporting quartz to Egypt to be cut. While digital software has replaced the need for the box with the swinging pendulum, it remains an endearing and “old school” approach to keeping the beat.Īlthough Johann Maelzel (1772–1838), a German inventor, engineer, and showman, is credited with patenting the metronome as we know it in 1815 (under the title “Instrument/Machine for the Improvement of all Musical Performance”), a kind of metronome was among the inventions of Andalusian polymath Abbas ibn Firnas (810–887 A.D.), an inventor, physician, chemist, engineer, Andalusian musician, and Arabic-language poet. If you ever took music lessons chances are you are familiar with the metronome the audible task master that helped you to keep time with the music.

Twizzle dizzle strain7/25/2023 The Twizzle Dizzle Strain is a great choice for those looking for a high-quality, potent, and flavorful cannabis strain. This new fuel was called “jet fuel” and it was used to power the new generation of jet engines that were being developed by the British military. His research led to the development of a new type of fuel that was more efficient and had a higher octane rating than the existing fuels being used by the British military. He was a chemist working for the British government during World War II. The first person to develop a strain of jet fuel was Dr. The only other jet fuel commonly used in civilian turbine-engine powered aviation is Jet B, which is used for its enhanced cold-weather performance. The most commonly used fuels for commercial aviation are Jet A and Jet A-1, which are produced to a standardized international specification. It is colorless to straw-colored in appearance. Jet fuel, aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or avtur, is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. All of these strains are known for their high THC content and their ability to give users a powerful high. There are many strains that make up Jet Fuel, however the most popular and well known are Blue Dream, Super Silver Haze, and Green Crack. While inhaling large amounts of soot can be harmful, inhaling jet fuel is not likely to get you high. When burned, kerosene produces carbon dioxide and water vapor, as well as a small amount of soot. However, this is not true! Jet fuel is made up of a variety of chemicals, including kerosene, which is used as a fuel for jet engines. It’s a common misconception that you can get high by smoking jet fuel. And it’s good news for passengers, who may see lower fares as a result. This is good news for airlines, which are always looking for ways to cut costs. Whatever the reasons, the bottom line is that jet fuel is now much cheaper than it used to be. This has put downward pressure on the price of oil, and jet fuel prices have followed suit. Second, oil production has increased, leading to a glut of crude oil on the market. First, the global economy has slowed down, resulting in less demand for air travel. In fact, the price of jet fuel is now about half of what it was just a few years ago. The price of jet fuel has fallen sharply in recent years, due in large part to the plummeting price of crude oil. The main component of jet fuel is kerosene, which has a distinctive odor and taste. Jet fuel is made from a mixture of crude oils and other hydrocarbons. It is clear to straw-colored in appearance and has a density of about 0.804 g/cm3. Jet fuel, or aviation turbine fuel (ATF), is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. White Caviar is a popular choice for treating anxiety and stress. This strain has a high THC content and is known for its strong cerebral effects. White Caviar is a hybrid cannabis strain that is a cross between White Widow and Caviar Gold. The composition of jet fuel varies depending on the crude oil source and the refining process used. The major components of jet fuel are n-paraffins, iso-paraffins, naphthene aromatics, cyclohexanes, and pentanes. It is a highly refined product that contains a complex mixture of hydrocarbons. Jet fuel is an aviation gasoline that is distilled from crude oil. The exact composition varies depending on the crude oil source and the refining process used, but all jet fuels contain some percentage of these five components. The major components are n-paraffins, iso-paraffins, naphthene aromatics, cyclohexanes, and pentanes. Jet fuel is a complex mixture of a large number of different hydrocarbons. It is clear to straw-colored in appearance and has a density of about 0.804 g/mL. However, it is flammable and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. Jet fuel is generally considered to be quite stable and is not prone to spontaneous combustion. It burns at a temperature of about 1,500☌ (2,700☏) and has a flash point of about 38☌ (100☏). Jet fuel is classified as a kerosene-type fuel, and is thus sometimes also known as kerosene. The exact composition of jet fuel varies depending on the source, but it typically contains between 10 and 20 carbon atoms. Jet fuel is composed of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons and contains many different types of compounds. It is clear to straw-colored in appearance and has a density of about 0.8 g/cm3. Jet fuel is a type of aviation fuel designed for use in aircraft powered by gas-turbine engines. It has a boiling point range of between -47 degrees Celsius and 162 degrees Celsius, and a freezing point of -40 degrees Celsius. Jet fuel is made up of a mixture of hydrocarbons, and is derived from the fractional distillation of petroleum.

Ispq videochat ports7/25/2023 Low prices have ensured their lasting popularity for a host of uses, including security monitoring, videoconferencing, QuickTime movie recording, and the eponymous use of either uploading periodic still images or streaming video to a Web site.Īpple has been busy working on more important drivers for Mac OS X, such as those for printers, external hard disks, and digital still cameras. The market for these tiny video cameras has evolved over the years to add color and new connection types like USB and FireWire, but for the most part, they’ve remained small, inexpensive, and low resolution. It was low resolution and only black-and-white, but it was still an amazing breakthrough for bringing video into a Mac without buying an expensive camcorder. The main attraction to licensing an existing driver is that driver development is a black art mastered by relatively few people, as evidenced by the truly clumsy inkjet printer drivers we’ve seen over the years.Įyes in the Sky - Years ago, Connectix introduced the QuickCam, a tennis ball-sized video camera that connected to the Mac’s serial port. These drivers are usually shareware – think of Alessandro Levi Montalcini’s USB Overdrive mouse driver, now in beta for Mac OS X – and peripheral manufacturers often license a shareware driver to avoid developing their own. Every now and then a programmer will become fed up with an existing driver, or perhaps the complete lack of one, and write an independent driver. What’s the third source? Independent developers. For less common devices, manufacturers have to write their own drivers, which users must install to make the devices work properly. Manufacturers then make sure that their devices work with Apple’s universal drivers. For common devices that provide the most value to users, Apple often writes universal drivers and ships them with the Mac OS. It shouldn’t be surprising – a driver is the piece of software that enables the operating system to interact with a specific peripheral, be it a printer, an external hard disk, a scanner, or one of those inexpensive video cameras generally referred to as a "webcam." Drivers generally come from three sources. The success of an operating system is directly related to the breadth of drivers available for it. But the more recent, if less graphic, connection between Apple and Volkswagen has Mac OS X appropriating Volkswagen’s tag line: Drivers Wanted. When the iMac first came out, many people immediately noticed similarities with another recent high-profile, high-design product, Volkswagen’s new Beetle, to the point where a Beetle painted to look like an iMac made an appearance at San Francisco’s Macworld Expo in 1999.
